Ep 19: Cormac Ryan (Former Dublin Minor/U21 Keeper) – Pacemaker, Mental Health, Cycle for Life, Men’s Body Image

Former Dublin Minor/U21 Hurling keeper Cormac Ryan is our guest on today’s show.

In 2011, Cormac played in an All-Ireland Minor Final. He felt dizzy in a club county semi-final a few weeks later. The following months, Cormac was in and out of hospital with an irregular heart beat and had to wear a pacemaker.

Cormac chats to us about that near death experience, hurling, Cycle for Life, mental health and men’s body image.

Cormac is also cycling 5000km from LA to New York in April 2021 for Bodywhys: The Eating Disorders Association of Ireland and Pieta House. To donate: https://www.idonate.ie/fundraiser/11384016_cycle-across-america.html
